JAMMU, Feb 5: Swaran Vihar Welfare Association has appealed the RTO Jammu to immediately start Mini-Bus service from Swaran Vihar to KC Chowk, which is being demanded by the people since long.
A meeting of the Association was held under the chairmanship of S N Raina, who lamented that despite a clear instruction by the Governor’s Advisor Khurshid Ahmad Ganai during their meeting with him on December 23, there was no action by RTO Jammu for arranging Mini-Bus service on the route.
Mr Raina added that the Advisor had clearly directed the concerned officer, in his remark “Please arrange even if it requires issuance of a fresh permit.” However, he added, no service was started till date with the result that residents of the colony and adjoining areas face hardships.
