SRINAGAR: A CRPF jawan was injured in a militant attack in south Kashmir district of Kulgam on Wednesday evening, official sources said.
They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a CRPF camp at Laroo in Kulgam. A CRPF jawan identified as Sahu Ram received splinter injuries in the blast, sound of which was heard in the entire area, they said adding the injured was rushed to local hospital.
Later security forces conducted search operation in the area but the militants managed to escape, they added. (AGENCIES)
