JAMMU, Feb 7: J&K Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has urged upon the State Administration to remove the pay anomalies in the grades of clerical cadre, restoration of old pension scheme, abolition of SRO-202 and regulations of daily wagers, contractual and casual workers.
In a meeting of the EJAC-R held here today under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, the members expressed serious concern over the delay being caused by the State authorities in addressing the pending issues of the employees. They said the employees are facing stagnation at various levels and DPC be held at all levels.
They demanded removal of pay anomalies with amendment in SRO 333, enhancement in Medical Allowance of the employees and workers, restoration of Old pension scheme, abolition of SRO 202, five day working with holidays on Saturday and Sunday, revival of Store Procurement Department, combined seniority of all the Ministerial staff including that of from Civil Secretariat (GAD) and outside the Sectt and bring uniformity among all Ministerial staff of the State and regularization of daily rated, casual, contractual and consolidated workers.
Senior members Yashpal Sharma, Seva Ram Rathore, Kulwant Singh, Naresh Kumar, Rehmat Ullah and others were also present.
