4 yrs imprisonment awarded to 2 brothers for committing fraud

JAMMU, Feb 7: Principal Sessions Judge Kathua Sanjeev Kumar Gupta today awarded four years imprisonment to Abdul Qayoom and Bashir Ahmed, sons of Mohd Abdullah, who got Government job on fake certificates.
“Both the convicts Abdul Qayoom and Bashir Ahmed are sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one year and also to pay fine of Rs 10,000 each under Section 420 RPC and in default of payment of fine, the convicts shall undergo simple imprisonment for two months”, the court said.
“They shall also undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one year and to pay a fine of Rs 10,000 each under Section 465 RPC and in default of payment of fine, the convicts shall undergo simple imprisonment for two months. They shall also undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one year and to pay a fine of Rs 10,000 each under Section 468 RPC and in default of payment of fine, the convicts shall undergo simple imprisonment for two months. They shall also undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one year and to pay a fine of Rs 10,000 each under Section 471 RPC and in default of payment of fine, the convicts shall undergo simple imprisonment for two months”, the court said.
