JAMMU, Feb 8: A man was today found hanging at his residence here in Digiana area of city outskirts.
“Gurmeet Singh son of late Mohan Singh, resident of Ward No 1, Bhor Camp (Chatha) and at present living in Dashmesh Nagar, was found hanging early this morning from hook of the ceiling fan at his present residence,” a police official said. He said the body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem.
The official said that inquest proceedings in this connection were initiated at police station Satwari as no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
