JWAM stages protest, demands Mayor’s resignation

JAMMU, Feb 8: Activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) here today staged a protest demonstration demanding resignation of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor and BJP Corporators.
Addressing the protesters JWAM president, Sunil Dimple said substandard work was done in ERA Sewerage and other projects of JMC, PWD, R&B and PHE resulting which dirty water of drains is overflowing on roads and is getting mixed with PHE water supply. He also said that substandard work is also reflected from the condition of damaged roads.
JWAM leader alleged that no development took place in Jammu West Assembly Constituency in the last five years of BJP-PDP Government.
He called the Sewerage project a big failure and demanded CBI inquiry into it.
Prominent among the protesters present on the occasion were Sanjay Gupta, Anil Gupta, Ashok Kumar, Narinder Sharma, Rajesh Sehgal, Vishal Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma and others.
