Man found dead in Nallah

UDHAMPUR, Feb 8: Mystery shrouded death of a middle aged man, who was found dead in a Nallah at village Tiran in Ramnagar, here today
Reports said that dead body of Tirath Ram (55), son of Ganga Ram of village Tiran in Ramnagar, was found in a Nallah at Ward Number 9, under mysterious circumstances. On being informed, a Police party, led by SHO Ramnagar, Inspector Rakesh Singh rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to SDH Ramnagar for postmortem.
Cause of death could not be immediately ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
Meanwhile, eight domestic animals and some poultry birds were charred to death when a cattle shed was completely gutted in accidental fire at village Pattan Garh, tehsil Latti, last night.
According to reports, fire broke out in the cattle shed of Subhas Chand, son of Sagar Chand. Three cows, two bulls, three sheep and 10 chickens were burnt alive in the fire.
