Local talent ignored during ongoing Jammu Mahotsav: YP

JAMMU, Feb 9: Local talent has been ignored by the Tourism Department during the ongoing Jammu Mahotsav.
Addressing a press conference, State Vice President Young Panthers (YP), Partap Singh Jamwal said that Jammu Mahotsav is being organized by Tourism Department from February 8 to 10 in which Aabha Hanjura, a Kashmiri Sufi singer and Sherry Mann, a Punjabi Pop singer have been shown invited on hoardings thereby totally ignoring local youth singers, dancers, Dogri literary figures etc.
He said that Dogri have got acclamation and appreciation all over the globe, but are ignored by the organizers of the Jammu Mahotsav.
Partap condemned such ignorant and callous nature of organizers towards the local talent and warned of dire consequences if such things go on in future.
Among others present were Yogesh Talwar, Nikhil Sharma, Sidhnat, Sunil Sharma, Bhanu Partap Singh Goria, Raghav Talwar, etc.
