JAMMU, Feb 8: Mahasha Jagriti Mission (MJM) today demanded its representation in the Upper House in the forthcoming election to the Legislative Council.
In a meeting held here under the presidentship of Koushal Kumar Karotra, the newly constituted social organization, Mahasha Jagriti Mission expressed concern over the fact that that despite Mahasha community being one of the largest community amongst SCs in the State, it has no representation in any board etc as a result of which majority of its people are living below poverty line and living sub-standard life.
The meeting decided to take up this demand of the community to the senior leaders and high command of the coalition parties.
