RAJOURI, Feb 14: A shopkeeper from Patrara area of Manjakote has been arrested by police for illegal sale of liquor from his Karyana shop.
Based upon a specific information, a police party led by SDPO Manjakote, Nissar Khoja raided the shop at Patrara market on Jammu- Poonch highway being run by Parshotam Lal, son of Prithvi Lal, resident of Patrara and started search.
It was found that illicit liquor is being sold to the people of the area from this shop. During physical check, 26 bottles of liquor along with 4 empty bottles and 2 drinking glasses were recovered. The accused was arrested. A case FIR No. 8/2019 has been registered against him.
