Stand in oneness

Sir,
We, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have gone through disturbed public life post Pulwama attack not only due to public anger but the sense of insecurity which erupted out of few untoward incidents that ultimatelybrought imposition of Curfew along with Sec 144 to control further escalation of lawlessness by district administration. This avoidable situation apparently resulted due to lack of diligent understanding of the situation. This shows immaturity on the part of involved elements and lack of correct assessment by the authorities concerned. A close interaction of law enforcement agencies with local leaders of various cadres would have shown healthy results and earned kudos for showing age old brotherhood by all of us. Such attacks on our soldiers designed and executed by our enemies are a challenge to our unity and integrity and are in fact carried out with multiple objectives of shaking our communal brotherhood and peaceful social environment. We as conscious citizen of India are expected to rise above our communal lines of faith and religion to display oneness to our potent enemy to crush his intended move. Here indeed we need help from law enforcing agencies to detect in advance the criminal element available in our social fabric that may exploit such situation in their favour and guide law abiding citizens to ignore any such mischief. We may have area warden designated by local police stations to rise to the occasion, keep watchful eye on unsocial element to check such undesired activities in the beginning itself. We are expected to remain alert at all times towards our social responsibilities and help authorities to attain cohesive living of citizens.
Few undesired incidents reported from some localities across the town occurred due to irresponsible behavior of few of us, did disturb our normal life for six days. We may appreciate the loss incurred to our school going children, daily laborers, workers and other business establishments besides Government offices that ultimately affect our national growth giving sense of achievement to our enemy who could shake our social fabric beyond repair for some time. Such weak moments are best exploited by our enemy in their interest and it therefore calls for us to stand in oneness to obstruct these moves.
