RAJOURI, Feb 25: Two persons who were wanted in separate cases and evading their arrests have been nabbed by police in Rajouri district.
A police official said one Kashafat Hussain, son of Hassan Din, resident of Naika Panjgrian in Manjakote tehsil was wanted in case FIR No 61/2018 under Sections 366/376/109 RPC of police station Kalakote but was evading his arrest.
He was arrested by a team of police headed by SHO Kalakote, Mustaj Ahmed under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Brijesh Sharma and Additional SP Nowshera GL Sharma.
Another absconder, namely- Shafiq Ahmed, son of Abdul Gani, resident of Kala Ban Mendhar in district Poonch has also been arrested.
He was wanted in case FIR No 59/2013 under Sections 279/337/338 RPC of Police Station Sunderbani since last five years. He was nabbed by a team headed by SHO Sunderbani Naveen Angral.
Meanwhile, one Mohammad Tanveer, son of Mohammad Azam, resident of Nadiyan, Darhal has been traced today. He was missing for the last two months and a missing report was also registered in Darhal Police Station in this connection. He was traced today and after recording his statement, handed over to his parents.
