DC reviews implementation of PM-SYM scheme

SAMBA, Feb 25: District Development Commissioner Samba, Sushma Chauhan, today chaired a review meeting regarding implementation of Prime Minister Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM) in the DC conference hall.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Samba during the meet informed the overall salient features of the scheme and directed all the line departments to mobilize the un-organized workers in the age group of 18 to 40 year and with monthly income less than 15000 for registration under this scheme.
Stating that the department wise Common Service Centre will be established in each block for hassle free registration of worker, the DC fixed department wise target and directed the officers to submitted daily appraisal about the target achieved under the scheme in DC Office.
During the meet, Assistant Director, Employment Samba, Naresh kumar, informed that all the NREGA workers, construction workers, Anganwari workers, Helpers and ASHA workers of district Samba within age age-group of 18 to 40 years were to be registered for this pension scheme.
Among others present in the meeting were Jyoti Rani Slathia (PO ICDS), Muddasir Latifi (ACD), Rajinder Samyal (CMO), AD Handicraft/Handloom, all BDO’s, Branch Head LIC and District Manager CSC of Samba.
