Bari Brahmana police traces missing lady within 3 days

JAMMU, Feb 27: Bari Brahmana police recovered a missing woman along with her kid within three days after receiving a report in this regard from her family members.
Police said on February 24, a written complaint was received at P/S Bari Brahmana from one Vikas Kumar, S/o Mulkh Raj, R/o Barnai, Jammu stating therein that his wife namely Ritu Sharma along with her minor son, Hari was missing from SIDCO Chowk, Bari Brahmana on February 22.
Acting on the complaint, a missing report was entered at P/S Bari Brahmana vide DDR No. 11 dated 24.02.2019 and search was started to trace out the said missing lady along with her minor son. Acting swiftly, a special team was constituted on the directions of Dr. Koshal Sharma, SSP Samba under the supervision of Sunil Kesar, SDPO, Bari Brahmana which was headed by Inspector, Darshan Singh, SHO, PS Bari Brahmana and SI Meenu Sharma to trace out the missing lady and her son.
The team conducted raids at different suspicious places in and out of district Samba and finally succeeded in tracing out the missing lady along with her son from village Bhagwansar district Pathankot. The missing lady was brought back safely to P/S Bari Brahmana and handed over to her legal heirs after completing legal formalities.
It is worthwhile to mention here that district police, Samba during its efforts to trace out the missing lady had also sought the assistance of general public.
