JAMMU, Feb 28: Army Public School Domana received AKS Awards for the year 2018 in two categories–100 Highly Effective Principals Award and High Performing School at India Education Conclave held in New Delhi.
AKS Education Awards is sister concern of Alert Knowledge Services run under the banner of AKS Worldwide Pvt Ltd, Gurugram.
‘High Performing School Award’ has been given to the School on the basis of credentials, achievements and diversity as the best educational establishment.
The award ceremony was held in the presence of dignitaries of education in a Gala Event at New Delhi. APS Domana figured one among the winning schools from nearly 29 States and five countries for its contributions in educational system.
It is pertinent to mention here that APS Domana acclaims to be the only school in the entire region to escalate the parameters of AKS Education Award.
A handout claimed that the school has been meticulously striving to be ahead with its commitment and dedication towards the education system and society.
Besides ‘High Performing School Award’, the School Principal, Dr Renu Gupta has also been felicitated with ‘100 Highly Effective Principals 2018 Award’. The award has been given to the Principal on the basis of her profile credentials, specialized leadership and endorsements by School stakeholders.
