EJAC-K discusses demands

JAMMU, Mar 2: Jammu & Kashmir Government Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC)- K today met under the chairmanship of its provincial president, Balwinder Singh, at Excise and Taxation Complex, Rail Head Jammu and discussed the burning demands of the employees.
During the meeting, the speakers thread-barely discussed the core issues of employees which include full benefit of 7th Pay Commission in favour of public sector employees on analogy of State Government employees, implementation of SRO-520 in favour of daily rated workers without any delay, tetrospective effect of SRO-333 in favour of Clerical Cadre (Ministerial Cadre) and revocation of SRO-202.
Other demands like creation of posts of Private Secretaries, Senior Scale Stenographers in favour of HoD Cadre on analogy of Secretariat Cadre, placement of Section Officer as Administrative Officers against left out vacant posts, refund of 1st installment amount deducted under so-called Medi-Claim Policy in favour of Government employees were also figured in the meeting.
