JAMMU, Mar 2: The chain hunger strike protest of All J&K Contractual Lecturers (10+2) here today entered into day 746 demanding regularisation of their jobs.
Holding placards, the protesters raised slogans in favour of their demand of regularisation.
Leader of these protesters, Arun Bakshi said the government should frame some new SRO, if there is none already existing, for their regularisation.
He urged the Governor S.P Malik and his Advisors to look into their matter so that they may also be regularised.
A handout stated that J&K Employees Joint Action Committee led by its president Babu Hussain Malik extended support to these protesting lecturers.
Those who were sitting on chain hunger strike today were Ranjan Bala, Madhavi Sharma, Zabir Hussain, Vicky Kumar, Kulwant Singh and others.
