Sat starts developmental works in Ward 38

JAMMU, Mar 2: Former State president BJP & former Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) today inaugurated development works for construction of lanes in Ward No. 38 at Vivek Vihar, Paloura. The works were inaugurated in presence of Corporator Ward No. 38, Surinder Sharma.
Sharma was accompanied by local residents, social and political activists of the area. The estimated cost of development works is Rs 10 lakh which includes upgradation of lane by paver tiles. The work will be executed under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that upgradation of lane was a long pending demand of residents of Vivek Vihar. He said that various measures have been taken for upgrading civic amenities in Jammu West Constituency. He said that Narendra Modi led NDA Government is making all efforts to ensure effective implementation of various welfare schemes so that their benefit trickles down to the most deserving.
Corporator, Surinder Sharma appealed to the masses to contribute in the noble cause of “Swachh Bharat” by promoting the vision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi of building a “clean and green nation”. He also appealed to the people of his ward to actively participate in the various developmental schemes launched by the Modi Government.
JE JMC Malla, Mandal general secretary, Ravish Mengi, vice president, BJYM, Ajay Manhas, Vikram Manhas, Javed Khan, HN Channa, Tajinder Singh, Inder Kak, Dr. Ashok Abrol, Vinod Zutshi and others were present on the occasion.
