POONCH, Mar 2: The police has arrested a wanted criminal from Mandi area today.
The absconder namely Mohd Mashooq, son of Mohd Rasheed Thakkar from Chikhri Bann, in Tehsil Mandí -Poonch, was wanted in Case FIR No. 16/2015 u/s 366/376/109/RPC P/S Mandi.
He was evading arrest for the last more than four years. The arrest was made by a Police team lead by Insp Ravinder Singh Rakwal, SHO Police Station Mandi, under supervision of DySP Mohd Aijaz.
He was produced in the Court at Poonch and later sent to Judicial Custody to be lodged at District Jail Dhangri, Rajouri.
