Ganderbal neglected in sanctioning new degree colleges: Altaf

Srinagar, Mar 5: Senior National Conference leader and former MLA Kangan Mian Altaf Ahmed has accused the Government of neglecting the Ganderbal district in sanctioning new degree colleges.
In a statement issued,  Mian Altaf said that not a single degree college has been sanctioned for Ganderbal district which is injustice with the people of the district particularly the students community.
Mian Altaf said that Gund tehsil in Kangan constituency of Ganderbal district which is demanding a degree college deserves a degree college as it is one of the largest town’s and the students who pass out from the higher secondary schools from far off places have to travel a long distance to reach nearest college.
He further said that Ganderbal district also deserve a women’s college for the girl students who want to pursue their studies further without any reluctance.
Mian Altaf urged the Governor’s administration to fulfil the genuine demand of people in district.
