Samba police arrests 2 gamblers, recovers Rs 7490 as stake money

JAMMU, Mar 6: District police Samba, arrested two gamblers in the jurisdiction of P/S Bari Brahmana and recovered stake money of Rs 7490/- from their possession.
Acting on specific information about gambling, a police party of P/S Bari Brahmana headed by Inspector, Darshan Singh, SHO, P/S Bari Brahmana under the supervision of Sunil Kesar, SDPO, Bari Brahmana raided the gambling spot at Channi Kartholi, Bari Brahmana and arrested two gamblers along with stake money of Rs. 7490 and playing cards.
The gamblers have been identified as Kuldeep Kumar alias Kaka S/o Kartar Chand R/o Dhyansar, Bari Brahmana and Sohan Lal, S/o Gurdass Mal, R/o Pathankot, Punjab, A/P Dhyansar, Bari Brahmana. Taking cognizance of the matter, all the gamblers were booked under Section 13 of Gambling Act at P/S Bari Brahmana.
