JAMMU, Mar 7: A delegation of members of Forum of Recognized Colleges of Education (FORCE), headed by S Harbans Singh (former Minister and president of the body) called on Jammu University Vice Chancellor and apprised him about various issue of private colleges.
While interacting with the VC about the issues pertaining to B Ed and Nursing Colleges i.e. introduction of 4- year B A B Ed integrated course, holding of Management as well as selection committee meetings regularly etc.
The Vice Chancellor, while talking to the chairmen of the colleges, stressed upon maintaining quality education and said that the university will leave no stone unturned to make all colleges a place of quality education. He also assured full support to organize literary activities in the entire province of Jammu by involving off campus team of educationists along with team of Jammu University.
Director College Development Council was also present in the meeting, which was attended by FORCE members, including Er M S Katoch, Pankaj Dogra, Manmeet Singh, Ashok Khajuria, Kamal Gupta, Swamiji, Samardev Singh, C L Tikoo, Mr Bakshi, Gandharb Singh, Tahir, Pardeep Singh and Sanjeev Gupta.
