IYC flays BJP for ignoring Jammu

JAMMU, Mar 11: Indian Youth Congress observer for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha segment and coordinator AICC Naresh Pahalwan today criticized BJP for ignoring the aspirations of the people from Jammu region.
Talking to media-persons here today, Pahalwan said that BJP was respondible for prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that after being appointed as Congress observer for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha segment, he has been visiting different areas of this constituency and reviewing and piling up public opinion regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
He said the people of the segment showed anguish and criticised the BJP and other regional parties for not considering the basic demands and non-redressal of public issues. Congress has gained a very strong hold at grass- root level in J&K after the appointment of Priyanka Gandhi as AICC general secretary, Pahalwan added.
Pahalwan said that the shelling hit people from border belt of Rajouri-Poonch were not even provided the basic help including bunkers and relief packages by the administration.
