POF demands NIA probe in Bus Stand blast case

JAMMU, Mar 11: Public Opinion Forum has demanded NIA probe into the terror incident of grenade blast at Bus Stand Jammu on March 7, in which 2 civilians died and 30 others got injured.
The demanded was made to the Governor during an executive body meeting of the POF, held here today under the chairmanship of president Parveen Sharma who strongly criticized the alleged terrorist sympathizer for attempting to sabotage the police investigations.
“Though no one has any doubt on the competence of our State police but as this case appears to be a part of larger conspiracy therefore we request the Governor and Union Government to hand over this case to National Investigative Agency (NIA ) and also appoint special public prosecutor to contest this case before the court,” Parveen Sharma said and added that the Police and civil society should also keep an eye on terrorist sympathizer media persons and other so called human right activists so that they are not able to manage an escape route for the terrorists and conspirators.
