JAMMU, Mar 12: The dead body of an unknown youth was recovered today under mysterious circumstances from Paloura area of city outskirts.
“An unknown youth of age about 25 years was found dead along the road at Buta Nagar near Paloura. The body bearing some injuries was spotted early this morning by the locals, who informed the police,” police sources said.
They said the body was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem while a case under relevant sections was registered at police station Janipur and investigation were underway to ascertain the reasons of death.
