MENDHAR, Mar 14: The people from Harni area of Mendhar are facing water and power crisis for the last about two weeks.
The villagers alleged that motor of the water pumping station of the PHE Department at Harni went out of order about two weeks ago. The matter was immediately reported to the officials at PHE office at Mendhar but it could not be repaired so far. The people of the area have been left to suffer by the concerned officials.
They further disclosed that electric transformer installed in Ward No. 4 of Harni went out of order about a week back. The entire area has plunged into darkness. The local PDD authorities have failed to restore power supply. The villagers have sought the intervention of SDM Mendhar into the matter.
