Modi Govt failed on all fronts: Indu Pawar

JAMMU, Mar 15: Pradesh Mahila Congress president Indu Pawar (Ex-MLA) has alleged that Modi Govt miserably failed to perform all on the fronts and BJP-PDP proved disastrous in the J&K state.
Addressing meeting of its office bearers of Jammu Province to discuss and draw an action plan on the upcoming Parliamentary elections, the Mahila Congress president asked the party functionaries to gear up their activities in their respective areas.
Pawar said that Modi- lead Govt has failed on all counts, may it be `Note- Bandi’, transfer of Rs 15 lakhs in the account of every citizen of country, employment generation for youth, welfare of Kissans and in reduction of militancy related attacks.
She alleged that BJP was engineering division in the society and propagating its communal agenda for vote bank politics. She said that Congress is the only party which can provide solutions to problems of this nation and maintain communal harmony.
“Under such a state of affairs, women have a larger role to play. It is also a fact that large number of women voters are the decisive factor in the election. We have got a democratic choice to elect representative of our choice, depending on the ability and service rendered by the candidates,” Pawar maintained.
She further said that party leaders will nominate the best available member to represent the respective Parliamentary Constituencies and our duty as a honest and sincere worker is to support and work in favour of our candidates. She said Congress under leadership of Late Indira Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi has shown the acumen and strength in leading country at even difficult times.
She exhorted the party office bearers and workers to come out and work for the victory of party candidates and in mitigating problems of general masses. Pawar further said that similar meetings will be held in Srinagar and Leh also for mobilization of our Mahila Congress.
