DODA, Mar 16: Bhaderwah police took two drug peddlers into preventive custody.
As per police sources, acting swiftly on complaints of the people regarding drug abuse, a team from Police Station Bhaderwah led by SDPO Bhaderwah Iftkhar Ahmed and SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Munir Ahmed Khan conduced raids and arrested two noted drug Peddlers.
The arrested persons have been identified as Abrar Ahmed, son of Zafferullah of Bheja Tehsil Bhaderwah and Haroon Ahmed, son of Nissar Ahmed of Chiralla.
They were involved in drug peddling and supplying drugs to the youth in Bhaderwah Town.
The drug peddlers were produced before Tehsildar Bhaderwah Zeeshan Tahir and by the order of Executive Magistrate Ist Class, they were booked under preventive detention and lodged in District Jail Kishtwar for a period of one month.
The arrests were made under the supervision of Raj Singh Goria Additional SP Bhaderwah and SSP Doda Shabir Malik.
