POONCH, Mar 16: An employee of Municipal Committee, Poonch was knocked to death by an unknown vehicle near village Painch this morning.
The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old, Parkash, son of Sheru, resident of Dalera village. He was moving on his bicycle along the road for attending his duty at Poonch MC. Near Govt Middle School Painch, an unknown vehicle hit him with great force and he was thrown away and died on the spot. The vehicle sped away towards Poonch.
Later, the police shifted his body to Poonch hospital for postmortem. They registered a case and started investigation.
