SAMBA, Mar 17: Police here today arrested three drug peddlers from two different places and recovered intoxicants from them.
Cops from Police Station Vijaypur recovered 160 intoxicant capsules during a checking at national highway near Rakh Barotian and arrested the drug peddler Saleem Hussain son of Fakar Din of Rajpur Koular, Bari Brahmana.
A case U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in this regard and investigations started.
Meanwhile, police also arrested two drug peddlers from Bari Brahmana area and recovered 2 kg and 280 gms Ganja was from their possession.
The duo was identified as Chotu Kumar son of Suresh Sahu of Rampur, Bihar presently at Dollian, Bari Brahmana and Azadi Sahu son of Hardam Singh of Patna, Bihar presently Dollian, Bari Brahmana.
A case U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana in this regard and investigations started.
