DODA, Mar 18: A daily wager employee of Power Development Department (PDD) died due to electric shock while repairing HT electric line in Dandi area of Tehsil Bhadarwah.
As per police sources, a PDD daily wager identified as Imran Ali, son of Ali Mohammad, resident of Haliyaan Bhadarwah was repairing an electric wire of HT line poll in Dandi area of Bhadarwah, when he received electric shock and fell down on the ground.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of army personnel airlifted the injured person to GMCH Jammu, where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
It is pertinent to mention here that when the PDD daily wager having rear O-ve blood group got injured and was rushed to SDH Bhadarwah, army jawans donated the blood and tried to save the life of the injured employee, but unfortunately he died.
Bhadarwah police has taken cognizance in this regards.
