JAMMU, Feb 14: A delegation of Bharatiya Gujjar Mahasabha met the Chief Secretary Madhav Lal and apprised him of the issues of the Tribal community.
Led by its president Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal the deputation projected many issues related to the welfare of this community, regularization of National Youth Corps, proper utilization and distribution of funds meant for tribals. The Chief Secretary gave patient hearing and assured the delegation to look into the demands.
Sajjad Khalid, Ch Abdul Hamid Kasana, Aijaz Ahmed and Manzoor Ahmed Magray also accompanied.
