LEH, Mar 23: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today chaired a meeting of workers at Leh and asked them to gear up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Randhawa, who is also incharge for the Ladakh Lok Sabha seat today chaired a meeting of the local leaders of Leh in which threadbare discussion took place regarding strategy for mobilizing people to vote in large number in favour of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Parliamentary elections. He urged the workers to focus on each and every polling booth and to launch ‘man to man’ contact to seek vote for BJP candidate.
Pertinent to mention that Lok Sabha election to the Ladakh Parliamentary seat is scheduled to take place in fifth phase i.e., May 6.
Randhawa asked party workers to tell masses about the contribution of BJP for the development and upliftment of the people of Ladakh. He said that many developmental projects for the area are in progress and many others are under consideration of the Government. He also asked the party workers to mobilize more and more people for the rally which is being organized on March 24 and will be addressed by the Party vice president and incharge Jammu and Kashmir, Avinash Rai Khanna.
Randhawa said that we will win the Ladakh Parliamentary seat with huge margin and will contribute in strengthening the Narendra Modi to form a next stable government in the country.
Others present on the occasion include MLC, Tsering Dorjey, district president, Angchuk Dorjey, councillors Stanzin Lakpa and Stanzin Chosgyal.
