KATHUA, Feb 15: The police seized a load carrier along with five bovine animals bear Nagri but two smugglers managed to escape early today.
A police naka party from Nagri Parole intercepted a Mahindra load carrier No. JK08C/4301 at Nadolian on Punjab-J&K road in Nagri area early morning. The driver and his associate jumped away from the vehicle and escaped. The police seized the vehicle along with 5 bovine animals. The accused were later identified as Nazir Ahmed, son of Mohd Shah of Jathana ( Ghati) and Roshan Din, son of Mohd Shafi, resident of Barnoti. A case FIR No. 57/ 2013 was registered against them. The police was looking for them.
