JAMMU, Mar 26: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Dharminder Paul Singh Raina seeking better care of the border firing victims, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Sindhu Sharma today granted four weeks time to the State for filing report giving complete details of the facilities being provided to them.
In the PIL, it has been submitted that the crisis like situation prevails on the borders during firing and shelling from across the border and border dwellers generally remain deprived of basic facilities like food, electricity and water.
Even those who sustain injuries in the firing find it hard to get ambulances for reaching hospitals, the PIL said.
