JAMMU, Mar 26: RS Pura police rescued a kidnapped minor girl from Maharashtra and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by the family members with RS Pura Police Station stating that their minor daughter has been kidnapped by Rajinder Kumar, son of Mohan Lal of Kotli Mridian.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 43/19 under section 363 RPC was registered at RS Pura Police Station and hunt was launched to rescue the kidnapped girl and arrest the accused.
On specific information, a team from RS Pura Police Station conducted raid in Maharashtra and rescued the kidnapped girl. The abductor was also taken into custody.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
