Villagers demand repair of Govt School

MENDHAR, Mar 28: The locals from Dharana village of Mendhar tehsil, have demanded immediate repair of Government Primary School, Haryala highlighting it’s worst condition.
They disclosed that Government Primary School was setup in 1982 at the village and is presently having enrolment of twenty students. Although the school complex has a bathroom complex but the same lacks water supply due to which bathrooms are lying non-functional.
The main problem faced by the students and staff is related to worst condition of building of the school.
Mohammad Saleem and Sharak Hussain said that school is in immediate need of repair as the students have no place to sit in case of bad weather. They said that Education Department must pay heed to the issue.
Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sahil Jandyal when contacted said that he is unaware about this but assured to look into the matter.
