It is quite gladdening that the Indian Army has inducted State-of- the- art sniper rifles in its weaponry. This will help the security forces to a great extent in combating Pakistani military, and in fighting militancy in the State.
In view of the present security scenario prevailing on borders of the country, it is need of the hour that our security forces are equipped to their teeth. Only a strong Army can keep enemy away, otherwise everybody knows the consequences.
Both China and Pakistan have been engaged in modernising their armies just to needle us time and again. China will continue to exploit our weakness just to keep us at bay and to pursue its nefarious designs whether in Dokhlam, Ladakh or Arunachal Pradesh. The presence of Chinese security personnel in PoK has compelled us to strengthen our security forces. Unless we are powerful militarily we can’t achieve economic prosperity.
