Cygnett Park Asia observes Earth Hour

JAMMU, Mar 30: All the outlets of the Cygnett Park Asia observed Earth Hour today to raise awareness about climate change and its impact on the planet’s vanishing biodiversity.
All the non-essential electric lights and gadgets were turned off in all outlets of the Hotel from 8:30 PM to 9: 30 PM to mark Earth Hour, a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature. The event is held annually to encourage individuals, communities and business houses to turn off non-essential electric lights for one hour.
Speaking on the initiative, Chandni Sharma, HR Executive of Cygnett Park Asia, said, “From last two weeks we are promoting this event through social media like Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp to unite people to speak up why nature matters and continue to raise awareness of the interconnectivity of climate change with the benefits of nature and people”.
She said to mark the event, they hosted candle light dinner for the guests, turning off all the lights in the lobby area and illuminate the same with floating candles and traditional diyas.
