JAMMU, Feb 16: Gujjar Bakerwal Conference held a meeting under the chairmanship of its vice president Saif Ali Kasana and discussed various demands.
While speaking, Saif Ali Kasana demanded grant of political reservation, inclusion of Gojri language in 8th Schedule, rehabilitation of nomads and colonies, issuance of ration cards and voter lists after fresh survey, provision of electricity, drinking water, roads, anganwari centers, tailoring and cutting centers, seasonal and mobile schools, health and agriculture centers and raising of Gujjar Regiment.
Among others present were Shah Mohd, Amir-ud-Din Kasana, Mumtaz Khan, Abdul Khaliq, Ghulam Rasool, etc.
