Prof Kaul gets Bharat Jyoti Award from IIFS

JAMMU, Mar 31: Professor Barbara Kaul from J&K has been conferred with Bharat Jyoti Award by India International Friendship Society (IIFS), New Delhi in recognition of her distinguished services.
The award was presented to Prof Kaul by Justice Pramod Kohli, former Chief Justice of Sikkim High Court in a glittering ceremony held at India International Centre, New Delhi, recently. Justice Virendra Singh, former Chief Justice of J&K High Court, eminent educationist Dr Srikant Paul, Gurmeet Singh, secretary of IIFS, were among galaxy of noted personalities who shared the dais during award presentation ceremony.
Prof Kaul was presented the award in recognition of her services in the field of education. She teaches commerce and is presently posted as Associate Professor in Government SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention here that these awards are given by India International Friendship Society every year to few men and women who have excelled in various fields of life.
