JAMMU, Mar 31: A warm send-off was given today to District Treasury Officer (DTO) Budgam, Ghulam Rasool Najar on attaining superannuation in an impressive function, organized by Treasury Staff Budgam. The function was presided over by Director Accounts and Treasures, Azad Ahmad Wani, besides treasury staff and many officers from district administration.
Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Assistant Executive Engineer, who retired today from EM&RE Division, Sub Division after attaining the age of superannuation, was given a warm send off by Executive Engineer, other officers and all other staff, who wished him a happy and prosperous retired life.
The Directorate of Information and Public Relations accorded farewell to Accounts Officer, Kuldeep Kumar on his superannuation. Lauding services of Kuldeep, Director Information and Public Relations Gulzar Ahmed Dar wished him good health and happiness in life ahead. Joint Director Information, Naresh Kumar, Deputy Directors of both State and Divisional offices, Information officers and other staff of Directorate and Division offices attended the function.
Staff and Principal of Government Mixed Higher Secondary School, Camp Durga Nagar gave an emotional adieu to Bihari Lal Koul, Headmaster and Ramesh Kalloo, Lecturer of the Institution, who attained superannuation today. Principal and all the staff members wished the retiring officials a great time ahead in their post retirement lives.
Kathua Police gave a warm send off to retiring Sub-Inspector Sarwan Singh. The send off function was chaired by Ramnish Gupta, Additional SP Kathua while KD Bhagat (Deputy SP DAR Kathua) and retired SPs, KC Sharma Sardar Khan, Rattan Chand and other senior serving police officers were also present. All of them wished the retiring officer good health and long life.
A grand farewell party was organized in the honour of 13 agriculture officers of Kashmir Division who attained superannuation retirement today. The function was organized in the premises of Agriculture Complex Lalmandi and was attended by all cadres viz Joint Directors, Deputy Directors, Chief Agriculture Officers, Divisional Level Officers, District Level Officers, Sub Divisional Level Officers, Zonal Level Officers and field functionaries.
The retiring officers include Hilal Ahmad Malik (Seed Pathologist), Mohammad Yaseen Masoodi (Regional Level, Subject Matter Specialist), Mohammad Amin (District Officer Budgam), Ghulam Qadir Ahanger (Assistant Director, Law Enforcement), Habib-ul-Lah Mir (Subject Matter Specialist), Showkat Saboon (Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer, Sumbal), Ghulam Nabi Bhat (Subject Matter Specialist, Ganderbal), Shamshada Jan (Subject Matter Specialist, Budgam), Mohammad Ishaq Khanday (Research Assistant, SPO), Riyaz Ahmad (Research Assistant Mushroom), Mukhtar Ahmad Reshi (Apiculture Development Assistant, Kulgam), Basharat Saleem (Agriculture Extension Officer, Shadimarg), Kulbeer Singh (Agriculture Extension Officer, Uri) and Tariq Hussain Dar (Manager, Potato Seed Development Farm, Sedaw).
Agriculture Displaced Employees’ Welfare Association (ADEWA), Jammu bid adieu to its 20 retirees by organizing a function in their honour during which they were presented mementoes by chief guest, Ashok Raina (retd Agriculture Officer). Prominent among those who attended the function include Dr Manoj Nazir (Scientist Floriculture and chairman, ADEWA) Rajindra Tikoo (general secretary, ADEWA), Pamposh Koul (advisor), Avtar Krishan Bhat (treasurer), Dr Sanjay Wali and Munuji Dhar.
