JAMMU, Mar 31: Aryans College of Law, Rajpura (near Chandigarh) organized a workshop on ‘Alternative Dispute Resolution: Role of Court and Arbitration.’
Advocate Sapna Arora, winner of National & International Moot Courts and enrolled advocate at Delhi Bar Association was the keynote speaker on the occasion while Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group presided over the session.
Sapna Arora discussed various concepts like the importance of ‘Preamble to The Indian Constitution’, who is a ‘Socialist, Sovereign, Secular, Republic, Democratic’ and what constitutes the ‘Justice, Liberty, Equality, Fraternity and Integrity.’
She further trained the students on strategies on how to resolve the dispute, methods to be adopted whether judicial or extrajudicial inside the court or outside the court.
She also made the students aware of hierarchy criminal and civil courts and an emerging trend of resolving the dispute.
