Incharge lecturers, teachers demand regularization

JAMMU, Mar 31: Incharge lecturers and Teachers Coordination Committee in a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of its State chairman, Amar Nath Thakur made an appeal to Governor Satya Pal Malik, Chief Secretary and Commissioner School Education regularize all 8000 incharge cadres with out further delay by implementing Order No 115 Edu. of 2019.
Addressing the meeting, Thakur said those incharge lecturers who have expired since 2006 till date should be exempted from vigilance clearance as their posting details for regularisation can’t be provided after a gap of 15 years. It is up to the Department to seek their vigilance clearance and clear the regularization of all others by implementing the order.
He also appealed to the Commissioner/Secretary, School Education to issue adjustment order of 121 principals, promoted earlier to fill up the vacant posts of principals, ZEOs and head masters for smooth and proper functioning of institutions.
While speaking in the meeting the teachers also requested Director Samagar Shiksha Abhiyan to release the pending salary of head teachers working under SSA for the month of December 2017 and January and February 2018 of Kathua district. They said the matter had been taken up with Secretary Education, then Director SSA, Director School Education Jammu and with all chief education officers since 2018 till date but no action has been taken in the matter.
