KISHTWAR, Apr 2: District Election Officer (DEO) Angrez Singh Rana today suspended a teacher for violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) as his pictures attending a political function at Jammu were circulated on social media.
As per the suspension order issued by the DEO, the action against the erring teacher Akhter Hussain Malik posted at GMS Binoon Zone Drabshalla was taken after an inquiry ordered into the matter established that he attended the political function and remained absent from the duty without taking leave.
