Spl Pooja performed at Ranbireshwar temple ahead of Chhari Yatra

JAMMU, Apr 3: Ahead of annual 25th Holy Chhari Yatra, which will be taken to ancient Shiv Temple at Purmandal on April 4, a special Pooja was performed today at Ranbireshwar Temple and preparations and other arrangements regarding the Yatra were finalized.
The special Pooja was attended by Ranvijay Singh, Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, Secretary J&K Dharmarth Trust, Dr Sat Pal, Mahant Rishiban, office bearers of the Dharmarth Trust and numerous devotees.
The holy Chhari Yatra will commence on 4th April at 7:30 AM from Shree Ranbireshwar Ji temple. On its route to Purmandal it will pass through Shri Raghunath Ji Temple where Pooja of the Holy Mace will be performed and there after it shall be taken to Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
After performing special Pooja at Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, the Holy Mace will be taken in a specially made and decorated Rath followed by huge procession of devotees which would also pass through different temples enroute to Purmandal. At Purmandal, a holy reception shall be accorded by J&K Dharmarth Trust and again Pooja of Holy Mace shall be performed. Thereafter, a grand bhandara shall be arranged for all devotees.
