Twenty one wooden houses were gutted and many domestic animals were charred to death in a fire that broke out in the remote Tun village of Kishtwar district.
The suffered community is in much distress as they need sufficient aid to start their life again. Though Government rushed men and material to help them overcome this tragedy, the aid is not much sufficient.
This farflung area usually remains inaccessible during winter season. The road connecting it with rest of the State remains in a sorry State. It becomes quite difficult to reach there easily.
In such conditions, it is necessary that NGOs, and other organisations come in aid of these people at this crucial time. They should be provided assistance in cash and kind immediately, otherwise any delay in assistance will not serve them purpose.
