Srinagar, Apr 4: The inmates of Central Jail Srinagar tonight held protests inside the jail premises over demolition of two barracks by the authorities.
Around 300 persons are lodged in Srinagar jail and authorities demolished two barracks for their reconstruction. The inmates thinking that authorities are doing this to shift them to outside jails and held protests tonight against demolitions.
The protests were going on when last reports came in.
