DODA, Apr 5: To assess the quality of medical services, punctuality maintained and patient care being provided in the district by health institutions, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Dr Sagar D. Doifode paid a surprise visit to the district hospital here in the late hours.
He inspected emergency, operation theatre, ECG unit, X-ray, ECG, SNCU, CCU, Blood Bank, Gynae and Post Operation ward, Medicine ward, Surgery ward and took stock of the medical facilities being provided to the patients. He also interacted with the patients and inquired about the availability of doctors particularly in late hours, timely diagnostic and about other facilities provided to them in the hospital.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent District Hospital Doda also joined the DDC and briefed him about the work done and the recent changes made in the hospital which will be used for functioning of recently sanctioned GMC Doda.
DDC showed overall satisfaction in the functioning of hospital and also suggested various measures to the authorities.
