JAMMU, Apr 5: The recently released manifesto of the Congress is in fact, reflective of this party’s love for the anti national forces, which is highly condemnable. The commitment to do away with Sedition Law and reviewing AFSPA is nothing but one more step towards appeasing and strengthening such forces which have been working against the interests of the nation and has badly affected the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement, BJP national vice president & J&K Prabhari, Avinash Rai Khanna has taken strong note of the manifesto which has committed to review AFSPA and end Sedition Law and cautioned the people to get united and defeat designs of Congress, which can go to any extent to appease anti national forces.
Khanna said that contesting elections at the cost of national interests had also become clear when this party joined hands with NC and PDP ignoring their open challenge to the Indian Constitution while they miss no chance to target security forces, name their workers as Mujahideens and side with separatists in the Valley.
“For BJP, nation is first and it will strongly oppose Congress for its soft approach towards anti nationals”, Khanna said and added that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has made a categorical commitment to the citizens of the country to not allow anyone to divide the nation or bring down its prestige and glory and every activist of the party stands by this commitment.
Khanna asked the Congress candidates contesting elections with the support of NC and PDP in Jammu and Kashmir to clear their stand on what has been promised to anti nationals by their party and also explain whether they are against the policy of taking line of anti national forces just for the sake of power.
Making a fervent appeal to the voters not to support Congress as a vote for this party would mean compromising on national interests, Khanna said that the coming opportunity of electing their representative should be availed to wipe out Congress for its love for anti nationals.
